Are you talking about DubClub wednesdays @ the Echoplex? The one off Sunset and a few blocks away from Alvarado? I've heard some spots in Little Tokyo that are sprouting some live reggae music as well...
The reggae nite at the Hollywood Bowl was just three bands: Barrington Levy, Beres Hammond, and UB40, with the latter closing out the nite. The whole bowl was so packed, (so we smoked it), haha yeah it was an excellent, positive experience.
